the "EarthSmart Consumer" on NBC KARE11 in Minneapolis,
Kim Carlson shares practical tips on living a more planet friendly
lifestyle. As founder and CEO of Cities Management, a residential
property management firm overseeing nearly 15,000 residential units,
she created an award winning environmental management program for
property managers. She developed the first "green" building
in Minnesota, launched the first national paperless office initiative
for residential property managers, and co-authored two guides on eco-friendly
property management - The Green Earth Guide to Alternative Cleaning
Products, Paints and Chemicals and Office 2000 Next Generation
Building Management. She has written many articles for industry
trade journals, is a contributing editor to Real and Midwest
Home and Garden magazines, and is a frequent radio and television
guest or interviewee. Carlson is a member of the Board of Directors
and recent past chair of Minnesota Environmental Initiative, a board
member of the Fresh Water Institute, and past chair of Minnesota Multi
Housing Association. A much sought after keynoter, she speaks on earth
friendly lifestyles and green facility management.
