As
a social marketing expert, she has worked with more than 100 non-profit
organizations and has participated in the development of more than
50 social marketing campaign strategies for public sector agencies.
Her environmental campaigns have focused on water and power conservation,
recycling, litter prevention, water quality, preservation of fish
and wildlife habitat, trip reduction, and natural gardening. She has
conducted social marketing workshops for hundreds of public sector
employees, and she teaches social marketing at the University of Washington
and Seattle University. Lee has been a keynote speaker on social marketing
at conferences for recycling, commute trip reduction, household hazardous
waste, family planning, teen pregnancy prevention, and nutrition.
She is the co-author of two books with Philip Kotler - Social Marketing: Influencing Behaviors for Good and Corporate Social Responsibility: Doing the Most Good for Your Company and Your Cause . She speaks
on the use of social marketing to bring about positive environmental
change.
