Ed
Lowans has worked as an environmental consultant, researcher, and
trainer for more than thirty years, and in that career he has completed
more than 1500 building environmental assessments or building environmental
specification projects. He is a past president of the Allergy and
Environmental Health Association of Canada and has served on the boards
of the Coalition For A Green Economy and Canadian Organic Growers.
Lowans has published numerous green building and environmental health
related magazine and professional journal articles and developed and
delivered more than forty seminars on related issues. He speaks on
green design and building, indoor air quality, environmental health,
and reducing exposure to toxic and hazardous materials in home, education
and health care environments.
