Peter
Melhus is currently the Executive Director of the Bay Area Alliance
for Sustainable Communities, a multi-stakeholder, collaborative group
in the San Francisco Bay Area. He recently completed a 25-year career
with Pacific Gas & Electric Company, the last eight directing
environmental policy for the company. He was a founding board member
of the Recycled Paper Coalition and formerly served on the board of
the Peninsula Conservation Center Foundation. He speaks about sustainable
development, the energy portfolio of the future, and saving money
by reducing greenhouse gases.
