Debra Rowe has been teaching and speaking about energy management and renewable energy technology for thirty years. As a college professor, she has worked to help higher education associations and institutions integrate sustainability into mission, curricula, research, student life, purchasing and investments, facilities and operations, and community relationships.

Dr. Rowe's many leadership roles include:

	President of the U.S. Partnership for Education for Sustainable Development. The Partnership convenes members of the business, education, local community, government, and faith sectors of the U.S. and catalyzes sustainability initiatives.
	Founder of the Disciplinary Associations Network for Sustainability. The Network is made up of a group of professional associations working to more fully integrate sustainability into higher education and education policy.
	National Co-coordinator of the Higher Education Association's Sustainability Consortium. The Consortium works with mainstream national higher education associations to conduct education summits and to synergistically infuse sustainable development into higher education.
	U.S. Designee to the World Federation of Colleges and Polytechnics Sustainability Group.
	Senior Advisor to the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education.
	Senior Fellow at the Association of University Leaders for a Sustainable Future. The Association consults with dozens of higher education institutions on the integration of sustainability into curricula, operations, planning, community partnerships, and student life.
	Author or editor of numerous articles in scientific and professional journals on the integration of sustainability into education. Author of "Building Political Acceptance for Sustainability" in Sustainability on Campus: Stories and Strategies for Change.

Dr. Rowe has spoken at dozens of professional conferences and at hundreds of universities around the world over the last twenty years. She speaks on integrating sustainability into all aspects of higher education, green and sustainable business and the triple bottom line, sustainable development and the emerging green economy, and the methods and importance of energy conservation at home and work.
